TRANSPORTATION OF WEAPONS, AMMUNITION AND SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

Citizens of the Russian Federation transport weapons across the territory of the Russian Federation in the amount of no more than 5 units and no more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition on the basis of permits from the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation or its territorial bodies for storage, storage and carrying, storage and use, for importation into the Russian Federation of appropriate types, types and models of weapons or licenses to purchase, collect, or exhibit weapons. The transportation of weapons and cartridges in excess of the specified standards is carried out by citizens of the Russian Federation in accordance with the procedure provided for legal entities.

The transportation of weapons belonging to citizens is carried out in cases, holsters or special cases, as well as in special packaging of the weapon manufacturer. The weapon must be unloaded separately from the cartridges during transportation.

The transportation of military handguns and ammunition without handing them over to the carrier for placement during the flight in an isolated compartment of the aircraft is allowed to employees and (or) military personnel of the State Courier Service of the Russian Federation, Intergovernmental courier communications accompanying correspondence, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, accompanying the objects of state protection, ensuring the safety of persons subject to state protection and other persons on the basis of federal laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation adopted in accordance with them, who have a business trip certificate with a note on the availability of military handguns, ammunition, special equipment and a seal with a reproduction of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, and employees of the Intergovernmental courier Service - a business trip certificate with a note on the availability of military handguns, ammunition, special equipment and the stamp of the courier service of the state that issued the certificate. The business trip certificate must also contain a record of the purpose of the business trip - accompanying and ensuring state protection (state protection) and security of persons or accompanying correspondence in accordance with the requirements. When transporting convicts and persons in custody, the weapons of the convoy (in an unloaded state) are placed in a lockable metal box (container) after pre-flight inspection. A metal box (container) with weapons of the convoy is transported in an isolated compartment of the aircraft.

Air transportation of weapons and cartridges transported by citizens of the Russian Federation and foreign citizens, as well as suppliers (sellers), is carried out by the carrier in accordance with federal aviation regulations without obtaining transportation permits from the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation or its territorial bodies and without regard to the regulations.

Transportation under escort is carried out in accordance with the requirements of government agencies in coordination with the Airline.
