On October 24, 2017, Valery Kozlov, a pilot of UVT Aero, performed his first solo flight as commander of CRJ-200. He performed his first solo flight on the route Kazan-Noyabrsk-Kazan.
According to the tradition for the pilot who performed the first solo flight, at the Kazan airport he was greeted by the heads of airline, colleagues, and friends right at the airstairs. Flight director of UVT Aero Nai'l Hisamiev handed over to the new aircraft commander letter of gratitude and conveyed greetings from the staff of the airline.
Valery Kozlov was born in Omsk. He graduated the High Military School of pilots in Yeysk. He did military service in various military units on the positions of pilot, senior pilot, second pilot, aircraft commander, deputy commander of the military unit. Valery flied six types of aircraft: L-29, L-39, MiG-23, MiG-27, AN-12, Il-20.
Having passed the necessary retraining, he received the certificate of the commercial pilot.
Valery Kozlov was employed by JSC UVT Aero in 2015. He successfully studied aircraft CRJ-200 and currently aviates it, continuing his career in the airline. Valery completed the training program for an aircraft commander.

I really liked to work in the crew. I was a bit excited, but didn't fear," the new commander shares his impressions.
